Exos AC Power Adapter (Refurb)

Power adapter to operate specific Koolance systems-- listed below-- without an ATX computer power supply. This kit includes an AC wall inverter (100-240V 50/60Hz, 1.5A 12V), power cable, adapter box, mounting screws and pads. Adapter housing is lightweight aluminum, 2.2" x 2.2" x 0.8" (5.5cm x 5.7cm x 2cm).

The adapter provides all connections normally found on Koolance slot interface adapters (3 temp sensors, 2 fan headers, 1 ATX shutdown lead). There is one male DB9 plug on the adapter box. It is designed to connect directly behind the cooling system.

This device will not work with other models of Koolance Exos, nor will it power multiple cooling systems simultaneously. Please keep in mind that a temperature sensor should still be connected to the "Temp # 1" on the power adapter. Koolance hardware alarms may activate if no sensor is detected here. Alternatively, this could be bypassed with a 50K Ohm resistor.

Liquid Coolants

Koolance's product warranty does not cover the use of 3rd-party coolants, coolant additives, or corrosion. Koolance LIQ-702 or LIQ-705 coolants are strongly recommended to help avoid issues with mixed metals or biological growth. Additionally, do not use aluminum with bare (unplated) copper or bare (unplated) brass in the same system. Do not use silver with nickel in the same system.
