Koolance's VID-398GX2 water cooling block for NVIDIA's GeForce 9800 GX2 video card is now available in very limited quantities. We expect these to run out quickly, but greater volume is being produced for arrival over the next 2-3 weeks.

Koolance has added new dual-ball bearing heat exchanger fans to our assortment. Dual-ball bearing fans are highly recommended for their long-term reliability over sleeve bearing. These now include 80mm, 120mm, 140mm, and 220mm in various airflow ranges.

Like our previous model, the patented PSU-1300ATX-12N is submerged in a non-conductive cooling fluid for full component heat transfer. However, there are several key differences! Mar 13, 2008Three New Inline Reservoirs with Fill Port
Koolance has released the TNK-80, TNK-120, and TNK-200 reservoirs. These products have two sets of nozzle sockets for horizontal or vertical tank orientation, plus a top fill port/mounting nut. With an optional bracket, these reservoirs can also adapt to mount 80mm or 120mm fan grills.

Mar 10, 2008CPU-340 Water Block Now Available
The CPU-340 has improved performance over the earlier CPU-330 by optimizing the flow channel and forcing more coolant down through the heat transfer pyramids. Flatness of the bottom contact surface has also been improved. The CPU-340 is made of copper and brass, with anti-corrosive nickel plating.

New, improved-performance motherboard chipset water blocks have been released. The CHC-122 is intended for northbridge chipsets, while the swiveling/angled socket CHC-125 allows more flexibility for southbridge chipsets. Both are made solely from copper and brass, with anti-corrosive nickel plating.

Feb 22, 2008New Koolance Rads and Enclosures/Risers Released
Now available, the triple-fan EHX-1020 and quad-fan EHX-1320 can be purchased separately for 3rd-party chassis integration. Koolance also offers the ENC-1020 and ENC-1320 enclosures for external mounting, or to function as "risers" when directly mounting these products to a modified chassis.

Available soon, the new RAM-35 (patent-pending) single-slot solution is fully expandable-- liquid cool 1 stick of memory, or 16+ consecutive DIMMs in various flow combinations (series and/or parallel). Also choose from any Koolance G 1/4 threaded nozzles: 1/2" (13mm), 3/8" (10mm), or 1/4" (6mm) internal diameter.

Koolance has released two brand new series of quick disconnect shutoff nozzles. Both are easier to use and offer less flow restriction than the earlier VLV series. The VL2 stresses a low physical profile, while the VL3 offers a higher flow rate.

Koolance has released the HD-57 dual hard drive water cooling block for SATA, IDE, SCSI, and SAS drives. The HD-57 includes G 1/4 sockets to allow the use of any available Koolance nozzle diameter, up to 1/2" (13mm) ID.
Dec 17, 2007VID-278 / 8800GT "No Video" Problem
A few customers have contacted Koolance with video problems when using the VID-278 block versus the default heat sink. We have yet to duplicate this problem, but a successful resolution was mentioned when using the Koolance-supplied mounting screws and plastic washers. If true, this would seem to indicate a grounding issue with the default NVIDIA screws and springs. It is therefore recommended to use the Koolance screws and insulating washers (included with the VID-278) to mount the water block.

The VID-278 water block will be updated in early 2008 for better compatibility with the GeForce 8800GTS 512MB (65nm) card. At this time, Koolance recommends the VID-278 for 8800GT cooling only.

Koolance has updated the PC4 1000W water cooling series with the option to select your nozzle diameter and liquid color. To offer this feature, systems now exclude some necessary components. More details are available at How to Build a Koolance.

Due to additional finalizations, the release of Koolance's newest liquid cooled power supply has been delayed until late January to early February, 2008. The first model available will not be self-cooled or have an external radiator, so it can be connected to an existing water cooling system. Notification for this product can be done here.
