California Prop 65 Warning

Proposition 65 in California requires that warnings be provided for products which contain at least one of more than 900 chemicals, unless a business demonstrates that exposure causes no significant risk. Koolance does not test for the potential exposure level in its products, and is providing a warning out of an abundance of caution. A warning does not necessarily mean that a particular product will cause cancer and/or reproductive harm, or that exposure will occur when the product is used as intended. Some of the materials prompting Prop 65 warnings include: nickel or chrome plating, copper or brass (may be alloyed with small amounts of lead), and phthalates used in certain types of plastic.
