Cooling Systems

Koolance manufactures a wide variety of liquid cooling systems, all several times more efficient than traditional air cooling methods. Ambient liquid assisted air cooling (LAAC), refrigeration phase-change chillers, and thermoelectric (TEC) peltier chillers are available for a range of cooling applications. These may include: artificial intelligence (AI), data centers, biotechnology and life sciences, medical, automotive, semiconductors, lasers, LED, photonics, energy storage, and aerospace industries.

Ambient Liquid Cooling

Ambient Liquid Cooling

Ambient liquid cooling or LAAC (liquid assisted air cooling) products dissipate heat using a coolant pump and radiator with forced airflow. They are ideal for applications such as AI hardware, where semiconductors can generally be cooled with liquid above the room temperature. The cooling capacities for these products are listed with the liquid 25°C (45°F) above the incoming air temperature, or a 25°C delta-T. If the heat load is lower than the stated capacity, the liquid temperature can be proportionally closer to ambient.

Liquid Chillers

Liquid Chillers

Chillers use either a compressor with refrigerant gas or thermoelectric device to enable settings down to (or below) the ambient air temperature. The liquid coolant is recirculated by an internal coolant pump, and cooled with a chilled reservoir. Koolance's listed cooling capacities for chillers are with the liquid and air temperatures both at 25°C (77°F), or a 0°C delta-T. These products can operate below ambient with lower relative heat loads and set points.

These are liquid cooling systems specifically designed to handle personal computers. They are pre-programmed to control temperature based on a standard range, and accept an ATX power supply input. For adjustable temperature set points or higher cooling capacities, see Ambient Liquid Cooling systems.
