Fittings & Quick Disconnects

Barb fittings can be used to secure either soft plastic tubing or reinforced hose material. It is recommended to use Koolance spring clamps with plastic tubing, and ear clamps for either tubing or reinforced hose. (Koolance barb fittings include spring clamps.)

Clamps are used to secure and seal flexible tubing or hose to a barbed fitting. They are selected based on the outer diameter (OD) of the material. Koolance spring clamps are reusable and can be installed with pliers, but should only be used with flexible tubing. Ear clamps can be used with either tubing or reinforced hose, though most types are single-use and will require a crimping tool to install.

Koolance compression fittings are designed to secure soft plastic tubing, such as PVC and PU. The included knurled nut can be tightened by hand. This type of fitting is not intended for heavier reinforced hoses (which should use a barb and ear clamp).

Manifolds and splitters come in 5-way, 4-way, and 3-way versions, some with swiveling and locking mechanisms. The number of outlet orifices on larger manifolds can be reduced using threaded socket plugs.

Plugs and caps for threaded sockets on water blocks, fittings, fitting bodies, radiators, reservoirs, etc.

Tube fittings for PA/Nylon, LLDPE, and other dense plastic tubing intended for push-to-connect fittings.

Koolance quick disconnects couplings are specially designed, double-valved fittings which automatically seal upon disconnection. The liquid flow path is reestablished when the QDC couplings are reconnected. Quick disconnects are very useful for areas in a fluid handling system which might be detached frequently. They also add convenience while transporting or draining a liquid cooling system.

Thread adapters are used to convert between different fitting or pipe threads, such as BSP and NPT.

Couplings can be used as extensions or to change the angle or gender of a fitting. These also include adjustable length couplings for Crossfire / SLI setups and RAM block connectors.
